Preheating:

1.

Before using your FlavorChef

TM

appliance for the first time, clean the Hot Plates (items 2 and 3, page 7) with a damp

soft cloth.

2.

Close the unit by lowering the Lid (item 9, page 7) and connect the appliance to the wall socket.

3.

Rotate the Timer Knob (item 6, page 7) and position it to your desired preheating time. The Red L.E.D. Light

(item 7, page 7) will light up and indicate that the power is on.

NOTE:

 The FlavorChef

TM

appliance preheats within minutes; therefore, you won’t even need to preheat it for some

simpler foods. However, if your recipe requires a certain preheat time, follow your recipe.

4.

Turn the temperature regulator (item 5, page 7) to the desired temperature. The bottom Hot Plate (item 3,

page 7) will begin to heat up and the Green L.E.D. Light (item 8, page 7) will light up.

5.

Preheat the unit until the ready light (Green L.E.D. light) turns off. Once the timer reaches zero, the timer bell

(item 6, page 7) will go off. Now, you can prepare your food.
