Einführung:
Das
MINI FLASH II Infrarot-Thermometer
können Sie für viele Anwendungs-
bereiche benutzen. Es ist handlich und leicht zu bedienen. Innerhalb von einer
Sekunde erhält man die Oberflächentemperatur – durch die berührungslose
Messmethode auch von heißen, gefährlichen oder schwer erreichbaren Objek-
ten.
Funktionen:
• C°/F°- umschaltbar
• Anzeige der maximalen Temperatur
• Lock-Funktion für den Dauerbetrieb
• Stoppuhr
Messmethode:
Jeder Körper strahlt eine infrarote Energie ab. Der optische Detektor nimmt
diese wahr und übersetzt die Information in eine digitale Anzeige.
Inbetriebnahme:
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie den Deckel in Pfeilrichtung drehen. Ent-
fernen Sie den Batterieunterbrechungsstreifen. Ziehen Sie die Schutzfolie vom
Display ab. Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
Anwendung:
Einfach das Messobjekt anvisieren und die MEAS-Taste drücken. Nach einer
Sekunde erhält man die Oberflächentemperatur. Wenn der Bedienknopf losge-
lassen wird, bleibt die letzte Temperaturmessung 15 Sekunden lang auf dem
Display stehen. Dann schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus.
Das MINI FLASH II zeigt Ihnen die höchste Temperatur während eines Messvor-
gangs in der oberen Displayzeile permanent an.
Entfernung, Messfleckgröße und Blickfeld:
Wenn die Entfernung vom Messobjekt (D) zunimmt, wird der Messfleck (S)
größer im Verhältnis D:S = 1:1 (z.B. 10 cm Entfernung = 10 cm Messfleck). Um
eine möglichst genaue Temperaturangabe zu bekommen, sollte das Zielobjekt
so nahe wie möglich anvisiert werden.
Glänzende und polierte Oberflächen:
Die Messung der Temperatur von glänzenden und polierten Metalloberflächen
kann zu unkorrekten Angaben führen. Sie können das Messobjekt aber mit
einem Klebeband versehen oder mit einer matten Farbe lackieren und an-
schließend die Messung vornehmen.
Lock Mode:
Im Lock Mode können Sie mit dem MINI FLASH II Dauermessungen vornehmen.
Drücken Sie die MEAS-Taste, um das Instrument einzuschalten. Danach drücken
Sie die MODE-Taste. „Lock“ erscheint in der Anzeige. Durch Drücken der MEAS-
Taste bestätigen Sie die gewünschte Einstellung. Die Messung dauert maximal
60 Minuten. Durch Drücken der MEAS-Taste beenden Sie die Messung.
Stoppuhr:
Drücken Sie die MEAS-Taste, um das Instrument einzuschalten. Danach drücken
Sie die MODE-Taste zweimal. Das Stoppuhr-Symbol erscheint in der Anzeige.
Drücken Sie die MEAS-Taste zum Starten und Stoppen. Mit der MODE-Taste
stellen Sie den angezeigten Wert auf 0:00.
Umschalten °C / °F:
Drücken Sie die MEAS-Taste, um das Instrument einzuschalten. Danach drücken
Sie die MODE-Taste dreimal, bis das Symbol °C oder °F blinkt. Durch Drücken
der MEAS-Taste können Sie die gewünschte Einheit (°C/°F) ändern.
Emissionsgrad:
Das MINI FLASH II ist werksseitig auf einen Emissionsgrad von 0.95 eingestellt.
Batteriewechsel:
Sobald das Batteriesymbol in der Anzeige erscheint, wechseln Sie
bitte unverzüglich die Batterie (CR2032 Lithiumzelle). Dazu ent-
fernen die den Batteriedeckel auf der Unterseite des Instrumen-
tes, indem Sie den Deckel in Pfeilrichtung drehen.
Achtung:
Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät beim Batteriewechsel ausgeschaltet ist!
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte und leere Batterien nicht über den Hausmüll.
Geben Sie diese bitte zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder ent-
sprechenden Sammelstellen gemäß nationaler oder lokaler Bestimmungen ab.
Beachten Sie bitte:
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor elektromagnetischer Strahlung (z.B. Induktions-
heizungen, Mikrowellen) und statischer Elektrizität. Die Messung kann
durch eine elektromagnetische Feldstärke im Hochfrequenz-Bereich von ca.
3 V pro Meter gestört werden. Die Funktionsfähigkeit ist dadurch nicht dau-
erhaft beeinträchtigt.
• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor großen oder abrupten Temperaturschwankun-
gen.
• Legen Sie das Gerät nicht in die Nähe von heißen Gegenständen.
• Das Gerät ist aufgrund der Messtoleranzen nicht zum Messen der menschli-
chen Körpertemperatur geeignet.
Denken Sie daran:
• Für Messungen von glänzenden oder polierten Metalloberflächen (Edel-
stahl, Aluminium) ist das Gerät nicht geeignet.
• Das Gerät kann nicht durch transparente Oberflächen wie Glas oder Plastik
hindurchmessen. Es misst stattdessen die Temperatur der transparenten
Oberfläche.
• Dampf, Staub, Rauch etc. können die Messung beeinträchtigen und die opti-
schen Elemente des Gerätes nachhaltig stören.
Reinigung und Pflege:
• Der Sensor ist das empfindlichste Teil an Ihrem MINI FLASH II. Bitte schützen
Sie das Sensorteil vor Verunreinigungen. Zum Reinigen verwenden Sie bitte
ein mit Wasser oder medizinischem Alkohol getränktes Baumwolltuch.
• Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Flüssigkeiten.
• Bitte lagern Sie das Instrument zwischen -20 und +65 °C.

Beachten Sie die Arbeitstemperatur von -10 bis 50°C
(14 bis 122°F) und warten Sie mindestens 30 min., bis
das Instrument sich regeneriert hat.

Bei allen weiteren Fehlermeldungen sollten Sie das
Gerät ausschalten, die Batterie für ca. 1 Minute ent-
nehmen und danach wieder einlegen. Sollte der Fehler
weiter auftreten, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler.

MINI-FLASH II - Thermomètre infrarouge
Introduction:
Vous pouvez utiliser le
thermomètre à infrarouge MINI FLASH II
dans beaucoup
de domaines d'application. Il est pratique et facile à utiliser. On obtient la
température de surface après une seconde - grâce à la méthode de mesure sans
contact également d'objets chauds, dangereux et difficiles à atteindre.
Fonctions:

Méthode de mesure:
Chaque corps dégage une énergie infrarouge. Le détecteur optique la décèle
et traduit l'information sur un relevé numérique.
Mise en service:
Ouvrir le compartiment de la pile en tournant le couvercle à direction de
flèche. Enlever le bande d´interruption de la pile. Tirer la feuille de protection
de l´affichage. L´instrument est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.
Opération:
Visez simplement l'objet à mesurer et appuyez sur le bouton MEAS. Après une
seconde, on obtient la température de surface.
Lorsque le bouton de commande est relâché, la dernière mesure de tempéra-
ture reste affichée pendant 15 secondes. Ensuite l’appareil s’arrête automa-
tiquement.
Le MINI FLASH II indique la température maximale pendant la durée d’un
mesurage en permanence.
Distance, taille du spot mesuré et champ de visée:
Lorsque la distance (D) de l'objet à mesurer augmente, la taille du spot mesuré
(S) s´accroît au prorata de D:S = 1:1 (p. ex. distance 10 cm = taille du spot
10 cm). Pour avoir une indication de température la plus précise possible, le
mieux est de tenir l'appareil à la cible si près de possible.
Surfaces brillantes et polies:
La mesure de température des surfaces métalliques brillantes et polies peut
conduire à des indications incorrectes. Vous pouvez coller sur l'objet à mesurer
une bande auto-collante ou le laquer avec une couleur mate et effectuer,
ensuite, la mesure.
LOCK Mode:
Dans le mode Lock vous pouvez prendre de mesures continues. Presser la
touche MEAS pour mettre l’instrument en circuit. Maintenant presser la touche
MODE.« Lock » apparaît sur le display. Presser la touche MEAS pour confirmer
le réglage désiré. La mesure dure 60 min. au maximum. Presser la touche MEAS
pour terminer.
Chronomètre:
Presser la touche MEAS pour mettre l’instrument en circuit. Maintenant presser
la touche MODE deux fois. Le symbole de chronomètre apparaît sur le display.
Pour démarrer/arrêter appuyer sur la touche MEAS. Avec la touche MODE,
remettez le temps sur '0.00'.
Commutateur °C / °F:
Presser la touche MEAS pour mettre l’instrument en circuit. Maintenant presser
la touche MODE trois fois, jusque le symbole °C ou °F commence à clignoter.
Presser la touche "MEAS" pour changer l’unité désirée (°C/°F).
Facteur d’émission:
Le MINI FLASH II est réglé en usine à un facteur d’émission de 0,95.
Changement de batteries:
Si le symbole de batterie apparaît sur le display, changer la batte-
rie (pile ronde à lithium CR2032). Ouvrir le compartiment de la
pile en tournant le couvercle à direction de flèche.
Attention:
Mettre hors circuit avant de changer la batterie.
Les vieux appareils électroniques et piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetées
avec les ordures ménagères. Dans le souci de protéger l'environnement veuillez
les emmener dans un site approprié de récupération ou chez votre revendeur
selon les spécifications nationales et locales.
A noter:
• Protégez l'appareil contre les rayons électroniques (par ex. chauffages à
induction, micro-ondes. La mesure peut être brouillée par une autre inten-
sité du champ électromagnétique de haute fréquence d’env. 3V par mètre.
Le fonctionnement ne sera endommagé durablement.
• Protégez l'appareil contre les variations de température importantes et
brusques.
• Ne posez pas l'appareil à proximité d'objets chauds.
• L'appareil ne convient pas pour mesurer la température du corps humain en
raison des tolérances de mesure.
Pensez que:
• L’appareil ne convient pas pour mesurer les surfaces métalliques brillantes
ou polies (acier spécial, aluminium).
• L’appareil ne peut pas mesurer à travers des surfaces transparentes comme
le verre ou le plastique. Il mesure, à la place, la température de surface
transparente.
• La vapeur, la poussière, la fumée etc. peuvent porter préjudice au mesurage
et déranger les éléments optiques de l'appareil de façon durable.
Entretien et nettoyage:
• Le palpeur de MINI FLASH II est très délicat. S’il vous plaît, protégez le pal-
peur contre salissement. Pour le nettoyage utilisez un chiffon humide (avec
alcool médicinal ou d’eau)
• Evitez les liquides sur l'appareil.
• Gardez le MINI FLASH II entre -20 et +65°C.

It is compact and easy to use. Within one second you can safely
measure surface temperatures without contact, even of hot, hazardous, or
hard-to-reach objects.

How the Unit Works:
Every body releases infrared energy. The unit’s optics and detector sense infra-
red energy and translate this information into a digital reading which is dis-
played.
Installation:
Open the battery compartment turning the cover in direction of the arrow.
Remove the battery safety strip. Pull off the protection foil on the display. The
unit is now ready to use.
Use:
Just aim at the measuring object, press the MEAS button, and read the surface
temperature in a second. When the button is released, the last temperature
reading will hold on the display for 15 seconds. The instrument will switch-off
automatically.
The MINI FLASH II permanently indicates the highest temperature during the
measuring process.
Distance, Spot Size, and Field of View:
As the distance (D) from the object increases, the spot size (S) of the area
measured by the unit becomes larger at a ratio of D:S = 1:1 (e.g. 10 cm distance
= 10 cm spot size). To get the most accurate temperature reading, aim at the
target as near as possible.
Shiny and Polished Surfaces:
Inaccurate readings can result from measuring shiny or polished metal surfaces.
To compensate for this, cover the surface to be measured with masking tape or
flat-colored paint and measure the surface.
Lock Mode:
For long-term monitoring your MINI FLASH II provides a Lock Mode. Press the
MEAS key to power on the instrument. Now press the MODE key to activate
the lock function. “Lock” appears on the display. Press the MEAS key again to
confirm. The measurement will last 60 minutes at most. Press MEAS key to stop
the lock function.
Stopwatch:
Press the MEAS key to power on the instrument. Now press the MODE key two
times to activate the stopwatch. The stopwatch symbol appears on the display.
Press MEAS key button to start and stop. Reset to 0.00 by MODE button.
Switching °C and °F:
Press the MEAS key to power on the instrument. Now press the MODE key
three times until the symbol °C or °F is flashing. Press the MEAS key to change
the desired unit (°C/°F).
Emissivity:
The emissivity factor of the MINI FLASH II is 0.95.
Battery change:
Change the battery when the battery power symbol appears on
the display (lithium cell CR2032). Open the battery compartment
at the back of the instrument turning the cover in direction of the
arrow..
Attention:
Power off the instrument before changing battery.
Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and used batteries in household
waste. To protect the environment, take them to your retail store or to nearest
civic amenity site to be disposed of according to national or local regulations.
Cautions:
• Protect the unit from EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) from induction
heaters and microwave ovens and Electro Static Discharge. Readings may be
affected if the unit is operated within a radio frequency electromagnetic
field strength of approximately 3 volts per meter, but the performance of
the instrument will not be permanently affected.
• Protect the unit from “thermal shock” (caused by large or abrupt ambient
temperature changes).
• Do not leave the unit on or near objects of high temperature.
• Not recommended for taking human temperature.
Reminders:
• Not recommended for use in measuring shiny or polished metal surfaces
(stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).
• The unit cannot measure through transparent surfaces such as glass or
plastic. It will measure the surface temperature of the glass instead.
• Steam, dust, smoke, etc., can prevent accurate measurement by obstructing
the unit’s optics.
Care and Cleaning:
• The Sensor Lens is the most delicate part of the thermometer. Please protect
the sensor part from dirt. Gently clean it with a soft cloth moistened with
water or medical alcohol.
• Avoid splashes and spills on the unit.
• Store at a temperature of between -20°C to +65°C.
