Fuel Level Sensor

Removal and Installation

See Figures 4-131 and 4-132.

1.

Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on 
page 1-6.)

2.

Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable at the 
battery.

3.

Drain fuel until level is below fuel level sensor mount 
opening.

NOTE

Label all wires before disconnecting to ensure correct 
installation.

5.

Disconnect fuel level sensor wire harness (3).

6.

Remove five screws (4).

7.

Remove fuel level sensor (2).

Installation Note

Install the fuel level sensor by reversing the order of 
removal.
