(61) Stop the fluid supply.
(62) Wait until the fluid pressure is released.
(63) Slowly disconnect the test cart fluid supply tube from the inboard panel.
(64) Install new sealing rings (two S2800-942 Sealing Rings) and connect the two right inboard
wing panel supply lines to ports 1 and 5 on the wing proportioning unit.
(65) Disconnect the center TKS panel supply line from port 2 on the wing proportioning unit.
(66) Connect the purge tank line to the center TKS panel as near to the panel as you can.
(67) Apply pressure of 10 psi, do a check for leaks in the line, and repair all leaks.
(68) Apply pressure of 20 psi to slowly start the fluid flow through the panel.
(69) Wait until the fluid starts to come out all the holes at the same rate along the full length of the
panel and increase the pressure to 60 psi.
(70) Continue the fluid purge until the panel is correctly purged in accordance with Figure 3 and
Table 2.
NOTE: To get an even flow over the panel it may be necessary to lightly run a dry cloth or
paper towel over the leading edge and/or the dry spots of the panel during purging.
(71) Stop the fluid supply.
(72) Wait until the fluid pressure is released.
(73) Slowly disconnect the test cart fluid supply tube from the inboard panel.
(74) Install a new S2800-942 Sealing Ring and connect the center TKS inboard wing panel supply
line to port 2 on the wing proportioning unit.
(75) Disconnect the right outboard wing TKS panel supply lines from ports 3 and 4 on the wing
proportioning unit.
(76) Connect the purge tank line to the outboard TKS panel as near to the panel as you can.
(77) Apply pressure of 10 psi, do a check for leaks in the line, and repair all leaks.
(78) Apply pressure of 20 psi to slowly start the fluid flow through the panel.
(79) Wait until the fluid starts to come out all the holes at the same rate along the full length of the
panel and increase the pressure to 65 psi.
(80) Continue the fluid purge until the panel is correctly purged in accordance with Figure 3 and
Table 2.
NOTE: To get an even flow over the panel it may be necessary to lightly run a dry cloth or
paper towel over the leading edge and/or the dry spots of the panel during purging.
(81) Stop the fluid supply.
(82) Wait until the fluid pressure is released.
(83) Slowly disconnect the test cart fluid supply tube from the right outboard wing TKS panel.
(84) Install a new S2800-942 Sealing Ring and connect the right outboard wing TKS panel supply
lines to ports 3 and 4 on the wing proportioning unit.
(85) Disconnect the two wing strut TKS panel supply lines from ports 6 and 7 on the right wing
proportioning unit.
