Use the universal cable to connect an external device (MP3 player,
PC tablet, smartphone, notebook, or mobile phone) to the
DC 5V/
AUX
interface. Repeatedly press and hold the
MODE
control button to
choose the Line-in (AUX) mode. Press the control knob to switch
the sound on and off during playback.
Turn and hold the
V-/V+
control button to adjust the volume.
Using the RC:
Repeatedly press the
MODE
button to choose the Line-in mode. Use
the button to turn the sound on and off.
Use the
VOL-/VOL+
button to adjust the volume. Use the
MUTE
button to turn the sound on and off during playback.
Connect any USB wall charger (5V, 0.5-1A) to the
DC 5V/AUX
interface
using the universal cable. The LED light will turn red, indicating that
charging has begun. After the battery is charged, the LED light will turn off.
1. Fails to turn off
• Make sure the power button is switched to the
ON
position
• Check the battery’s charge level
2. Fails to charge
• Make sure the charging cable is connected
3. No sound
• Check the volume level
• Make sure there are MP3 files on the external media
• Check the battery’s charge level

• Check the file system format of the USB flash drive
• Check the external media for viruses
• Check the number of directory levels and MP3 files on the
external media
