To Steam Vegetables/Fish:

When steaming only, add the appropriate amount of water to the inner cooking bowl according to the food
to be cooked, see below table for steaming guide.

Place the inner cooking bowl inside the Rice Cooker, ensuring the bowl is completely clean and dry, then
place the steamer tray on top of the cooking bowl . Add the vegetables to be cooked/steamed to the
steamer tray. Smaller foods that may fall through the holes in the steamer tray may be placed in a heat-
proof dish and placed on the steamer tray.

Close the lid and plug the power cord into the mains socket.
•
Switch the Rice Cooker on, the Cook light will illuminate.
•
Once the Vegetables have reached the required cooking times check to see if they are cooked to your taste.
If not then carry on cooking and check every few minutes, until cooked to your preference.

Once cooked the Rice Cooker can be switched to warm mode but note that the vegetables may be
overcooked if left in warm mode for more than a few minutes. To switch off remove the plug from the
mains socket.
Note:
The below table provides a general guide to quantity and cooking/steaming times of vegetables.
Cooking/steaming times may be varied according to personal preferences. Less water means the Rice Cooker
will switch off sooner, to lengthen the cooking/steaming times add more water.

Check the fish when the relevant cooking time has been reached to see if it has been cooked to your taste, if not
then check every 1-2mins until cooked to your preference. When steaming whole Fish check to see if it is cooked
after 12mins, if not then check every 2mins until cooked. When cooked, fish will easily flake when poked.
