3. Adjust the slackness by moving the gear or the engine forward or backwards..
4. When the correct slackness is found the bolts must be tightened again.
5. Check the brakes. If necessary you must adjust the braking cable.
Failure to inspect the slackness of the chains before use could be hazardous.
Too much slackness may cause the chain to come off the sprockets and lead to injury or damage to the ATV.
8.4. Cleaning the ATV
Wash your ATV every time you have used it.
Wash carefully using an ordinary garden hose and soapy water. Never use high pressure.
Avoid getting water onto the electrical parts.
Wipe the engine dry with a soft cloth.
After washing the ATV you must check the brakes, as wet brakes are less effective than dry brakes.
Follow the procedures in the section “Inspection before use” to inspect the ATV for problems the may have
arisen after last time it was used.
9. Serial number
It is necessary to know the serial number of your ATV in case it is stolen.
The number is stamped into the frame under the left front shield.
