ADS1282-SP Analog Inputs
shows the default assembly of the analog input to Channel 1 (Channel 2 is configured
identically). The input signal passes through a unity gain amplifier
U9
and a low pass filter created by R85,
R76, and C49 before entering the ADS1282-SP device. There are placeholders available in the analog
path allowing for several custom configurations.

ADS1282-SP MFLAG Overdrive Indicator
As specified in the datasheet, the MFLAG output provides an indication if the full scale digital code is
exceeded. On the EVM,
MFLAG
can be monitored at
TP11
and also with
LED D3
.
5.4
ADS1282-SP EVM Header Configuration
The ADS1282-SP EVM is flexible in its configurability through the use of 2- and 3-pin headers. The default
configuration of the EVM is set to facilitate initial testing by requiring no changes.
