Demo Mode

The EVM software can be used on its own, that is:

Without a USB2ANY interface adapter connected to the host PC

Without an EVM connected to the USB2ANY interface adapter

If starting the EVM software when one of the previous conditions is true, an error message like the one
shown in

Figure 14

displays. Clicking on

Continue in Demo Mode

operates the software as if an EVM

were connected, but it shows simulated data. Clicking

Stop

shuts the software down.

If starting in Demo Mode and then connecting to an EVM, uncheck the Demo Mode checkbox in the top
right of the window to exit Demo Mode. If this box is unchecked when there is no EVM connected, an
error message like the one shown in

Figure 14

displays.
