TMP007EVM Software
If an error message appears when the TMP007EVM GUI software is launched, disconnect all
TMP007EVM kit components and repeat the hardware assembly and connection instructions. Next, insert
the TMP007EVM hardware into the USB port (if not already done), as explained in the
section. Uncheck the
Simulate Communication
checkbox, as shown in
. Notice that
the
SIMULATION
shown in the bottom right corner turns green (this field displays
CONNECTED
in
). The simulation communication is a feature used to become familiarized with the TMP007
features without the use of a TMP007 test board. The purpose of this function is to get accustomed to the
device features; this function does not simulate TMP007 behavior.
Figure 14. GUI Uncheck Simulate Configuration
When the
Simulate Communication
checkbox is unchecked, notice that the green LED circled in
turns on. This light indicates that all connections are correct and the TMP007 device is powered on.
Communication with the TMP007 test board can now be initiated.
