6 Generating Wave Files
In order to generate the wave files for the performance testing, extract all the files from the Wave_files.zip
to a designated folder on your local PC or laptop. The compressed file contains three batch files that have
been created; double-click the compressed file to automatically generate the wave files (refer to
Table 1 ).
The three batch files perform these respective functions:
• gen41kS.bat: generates the 44.1-kS/s sampling files
• gen48kS.bat: generates the 48-kS/s sampling files
• clean.bat: removes all the wave files from the system
