2.9 Direct I2C Window
Click on the direct I2Cbox in the Home Window and the following window is displayed.
The PPC3 has two ways to monitor and configure through direct I2C commands. The Direct I2C box can be
selected or the I2C button in the status bar can be selected from any window.
When this window is first open, the round button is green. Click on this button to turn on recording and it will
turn red. The recording can be saved for later use by clicking on the save icon. The I2C commands can also be
copied to the clip board by clicking the copy icon. The monitor can be cleared by clicking the trash icon.
A set of I2C commands can be loaded and executed from this window. On the top right corner, click on
I/O
button to show the execution window. Write I2C commands or open an existing
.cfg
file then click the
Execute
button in the bottom left corner. The I2C commands are sent to the device and the results of the execution are
shown in the bottom portion of the window.
