Jumper Configuration
As described in the beginning of
, the PGA5807A EVM is delivered with three unique signal path
configurations: four channels for PG ADS5296A, two channels for PGA5807A only, and two
channels for ADS5296A only. Any one of these three configurations can be applied to all eight channels
by changing the position of a few 0-
Ω
jumper resistors. As an example,
shows one page of the
EVM schematics (see
for full schematics). The table on the bottom right side of this schematic
page shows which 0-
Ω
resistors must be installed for each configuration. The configuration pictured routes
the PGA output from channel 1 to channel 5 of the ADS5296A.
