Functional Restrictions
B.4
Functional Restrictions
through
describe the subsystems and modules that are present on the die but
have their full functionality restricted in a CUS package.
B.4.1 Camera Image Signal Processor
Some camera subsystem functions are not available in the CUS package:
•
In CSIPHY2 complex input/output (I/O), the following pads are not connected to the CUS package
balls:
–
csi2_dx0/ccpv2_dx0
–
csi2_dy0/ccpv2_dy0
–
csi2_dx1/ccpv2_dx1
–
csi2_dy1/ccpv2_dy1
Therefore, CSIPHY2 is not operational in CSI2 and CCP2 modes. CSIPHY2 can pass the parallel
camera interface signals.
•
CSIPHY1 is not functional in CSI2 and CCP2 modes. It can pass the camera parallel interface signals.
•
The CSI2A, CSI1/CCP2B, and CSI2C receivers cannot be used, because they cannot receive data
from CSIPHYs.
NOTE:
Cells highlighted in orange in
indicate camera subsystem pads that are not
accessible through any ball on a CUS package.
describes the pads, I/Os, and their primary functions.

(1)
I = Input, O = Output
CSIPHY1 complex I/O must be kept in OFF state and CSI2C receiver must be kept disabled.
CSIPHY2 complex I/O must be kept in OFF state and CSI2A receiver must be kept disabled.

, Camera Image Signal Processor.
B.4.2 Display Subsystem
The display serial interface (DSI) complex I/O module and DSI protocol engine are not supported in
devices in the CUS package. DSI complex I/O can pass the parallel interface and RFBI data signals.
