Although certain pins are described as “negative,” never apply
voltages less than −0.3V to these pins. The ADS1224 is not a
bipolar-input device, and it cannot accept negative voltages below
−0.3V without damaging the functional operation of the unit.
The negative input pins are so named because the voltage on such
a pin is subtracted from a positive input pin during a reading.
