This is used on smaller logs, by splitting
directly onto a trailer.
Change from vertical to horizontal
splitting:
Remove the safety split, pull out the bolt
and remove the base plate. Fig. 4
Then mount wedge, insert the bolt and
safety split.
Mount the block on the piston head and
tighten the bolt. Fig. 5
Change from horizontal to vertical
splitting:
Remove the safety split, pull out the bolt
and remove the wedge.
Mount the base plate, insert the bolt and
safety split.
Remove the block on the piston head
after loosening the bolt on the back side.
Transport
Transport the machine when the log
splitter is in a vertical position.
Tilt the machine in vertical position, see
Fig. 1 (3rd picture from the left) and grab
the handle Fig. 1F.
Storage
The Machine must be stored in a vertical
position. In a dry and frost free
environment.
