General Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for future
reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton.
• Install these speakers in accordance with these instructions.
• Before connecting and turning on these speakers, ensure the electrical voltage
and circuit frequency correspond to those indicated on the product rating label.
• These speakers are not video shielded. Do not place them within 60cm of a
television or computer screen.
• These outdoor speakers are not waterproof, so if you want to install them
outdoors, position them so they are not exposed to the elements. The
undersides of most eaves and overhangs provide the best protection for indoor/
outdoor loudspeakers.
• Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to
persons. We assume no liability for any eventual damages caused by improper or
faulty use.
• These speakers are not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with these speakers. Close
supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• To reduce the risk of electrocution, never touch these speakers with wet hands,
submerge them in water or spill liquids into the speakers.
• Do not insert any objects into the speakers.
• These speakers have no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt
to repair, disassemble or modify them.
• At the end of their working life, do not throw these speakers out with your
household rubbish. Electrical and electronic products contain substances that
can have a detrimental effect on the environment and human health if disposed
of inappropriately. Observe local regulations and dispose of them appropriately
for recycling. Contact your local authorities for advice on recycling facilities in
your area.
