Disc Menu:
You may choose English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian as the
default menu display language.
Default:
To cancel your settings, select RESET. The DVD player will return to the initial settings (set in
the factory).
NOTES:
- It may be possible for the SETUP button to work while in normal play mode, but some
operations may be impossible, and a pertinent message will be displayed on the screen In
these cases. Stop Play try the operation again.
- In some cases, the DVD discs do not include the language of your choice, in this case, the
DVD player will automatically choose the initially set language.
FAQ’s
1. After the PLAY button is pressed, the unit doesn’t start to play, and “No disc” is shown in
the panel display. Please check:
- If a DVD, VCD, Mp3 or CD disc compatible with this product is used.
- If the side with label faces up. Is the disc properly clicked into the slot in the tray.
- If the disc surface is dirty. Wipe it clean with soft, clean cloth.
- Has condensation formed inside the player? Dry it at room temperature for 1 or 2 hours.
- If a defective disc is used.
2. No Picture? Please check:
- If a disc compatible with this product, such as DVD and VCD disc, is used.
- The video connection is correctly attached or if the video cord is too tight or broken.
- If the TV set has been turned on, and wrong settings have been entered.
3. Poor picture quality, or no colour
- Check if the picture doesn’t have colour, maybe it has non-consistent output systems between the
TV set and DVD player. Press the N/P button to make them consistent.
- When the SETUP button on the remote control is pressed, the video output model is at the ALL ON setting.
4. Occasional freeze picture, track skipping and colour blocks and mosaic phenomenon
- Poor disc quality. Replace it with better quality one.
- There are scratches, dirt or fingerprints on the disc. Wipe it clean with a soft cloth.
5. There is no sound output. Or only noise is heard.
- Check if the audio output terminal of the DVD player has been correctly connected to the audio
input terminal of the TV set or audio amplifier.
- Press the SETUP button to check if the audio output is set to the Analogue mode. (See the basic
set-up method for more information).
- Check if the DVD player is on MUTE. Press the MUTE button on the remote control to cancel the
mute function.
- Adjust the VOL+ button on the remote control to increase the volume.
- Check if the audio cord is too tight or broken.
