Suitable CDs
Use only commercially available CDs bearing one of
•
the symbols shown opposite.
The unit can also read CDs containing MP3 fi les.
•
Normal CDs of 80 and 120 mm diameter can be
•
played.
Self-burned CDs (CDR, CDRW) can normally be read,
•
though there may be problems if the burning speed is
too high or "bad" blanks are used. Trial and error is
the only way to fi nd out which CDs can be read.
CDs produced for commercial use cannot always be
•
read.
Handling CDs
Every CD has a durable plastic coating which protects it
against ex ternal in fl uences . However, it is still necessary
to protect the CD against soiling and scratching at all
times.
CD players can compensate for minor damage to the CD .
Deep scratches or other damage may cause the CD to
"stick " or jump or cause other problems.

Inserting a CD
Attention
Danger of damage to the unit!
Never insert several CDs one on top of the
other. Never insert any other objects in the CD
tray.
