Setup and connection
Setup notes
• Select a stable, level base.
• Make sure that the environment is clean and free from
dust.
• Avoid placing the unit close to sources of heat or in
direct sunlight.
• Arrange the connector cables so that they do not pose
a trip hazard.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the cables or the
speakers.
• The location of the subwoofer can be freely selected
and does not infl uence the other speakers. However, do
not place it in the corner of a room as this may cause
uncontrollable frequency overloads. A location between
the front speakers is often ideal.
Connecting the subwoofer
Use the enclosed purple/black speaker cable to connect
the subwoofer. You can order longer cables if you need
them in our webshop (www.teufelaudio.com) in the “Ac-
cessories” area.

The coloured connector terminals “Speakers” for the
speakers are located on the back side of the receiver.
The speaker terminal clips and the enclosed speaker
cables are marked with the same colours.
Therefore, connect the purple speaker cable with the pur-
ple terminals and the black cable with the black terminals
of the receiver and the subwoofer.
Make sure the polarity is correct!
Connect the like-coloured terminals. Otherwise
the sound quality will suffer.
Push down the lever of the connection termi-
nal and run the stripped cable end into the
opening which is free now. When releasing
the lever, the opening is closed again and
the cable end is clamped in place.
