Troubleshooting
The following advice should help you to solve problems. If this does not help, you
will find useful information in the detailed FAQs on our website. Otherwise, please
contact our hotline (see page 3). Take note of the warranty instructions.
Problem

Status LED

Software error.
Restart the CoreStation Compact:
Pull the mains plug, wait until the
status LED

goes out, insert
the mains plug back into the
socket.
No function.
No power supply.
Check the function of the socket
with another device.
No sound.
The wrong source has been
selected.
Select the correct source (see
“Selecting a source” on page
16).
The volume has been set too
low.
Increase the volume.
The volume of the external
player has been set too low.
Carefully increase the volume of
the external player.
Speaker cable not stripped.
Properly connect the speaker
(page 13).
The CoreStation Compact as
a 2.1 receiver cannot decode
DTS or Dolby Digital multichan-
nel audio signals.
If the TV set or a connected
Blu-ray player does not
automatically play sound as
“PCM“ or “Stereo Downmix“ and
the CoreStation Compact does
not emit any sound, change
this setting manually on your
TV set/Blu-ray player. Refer to
the operating instructions of the
manufacturer for the respective
device.
