Troubleshooting
The following advice should help you to solve problems. If this doesn’t work, please contact our hotline (see page 3). Take
note of the warranty instructions.

The subwoofer isn’t work-
ing.
The subwoofer is off or doesn’t have any
power.
Turn on the switch

cord and socket.
Fuse defective.
Replace the fuse:
1. Disconnect the power
cord.
2. Carefully pull out the
fuse holder

3. Push the old fuse
down and out. Insert a
new fuse (2 A delay-
action).
4. Close the holder.
The subwoofer doesn’t emit
any bass tones.
The

The subwoofer hums.
The subwoofer is connected to a different
circuit than the rest of the system.
Connect the subwoofer and the connected
device to the same electric circuit.
The humming is caused by line distur-
bance.
Buy a line fi lter and connect both devices to
it.
The humming is caused by a multiple
socket.
Use another multi-outlet power strip or con-
nect the subwoofer directly to the wall socket.
It may also help to insert the power plug the
other way around.
The playback has interfer-
ence.
Generally speaking, the Concept G 850
THX is a very low-noise system. In the
high range area, very high-quality high-
resolution speaker systems can expose the
poor quality of a signal source (e.g. from
MP3 fi les).
Ensure that the source is sending a clear
signal.
The sound seems dull.
Satellite speakers connected with incorrect
polarity.
Make sure the speaker cables of all satellites
are connected properly.
