Before carrying out a water
change or any maintenance
to the device always isolate
the DecoFilter and any
other electronic unit from
the mains electricity. The
electricity cable cannot be
replaced. If this is damaged
the filter must no longer
be used. The DecoFilter is
only designed for use in
temperatures which do not
exceed 35°C.

If you add remedies into
the water please use an
EasyCrystal FilterPack
cartridge without activated
carbon, as activated carbon

Maintenance of the Pump
If the motor of the filter is very
noisy, unplug the
filter and take it out of
the aqua-terrarium. Slide
off the impeller housing
(G)
and remove the impeller
(F)
.
Rinse out the pump housing
(E)
and the impeller so that
direct particles are removed.
After cleaning, replace the
impeller and pump housing
(picture 4)
. Put the pump
back into the filter housing
(pictures 5,6,7)
and plug in the
unit.
Tetra tip:
Cleaning and
changing of filter material
always means a loss of
filter bacteria. By means
of Tetra Bactozym, the
bacteria activator, this loss is
compensated in short time
.
