Prevention of damage
Do not overtighten the securing screws for the LED
light in order to avoid damaging the aquarium wall.
Installation
The top edge of the aquarium wall must not be more
then 6 mm thick and must not be curved at the
installation point.
We recommend that you select a position at
which the LED light will not create an obstacle
for feeding or maintenance work.
Select a position in which to install the LED light.
DANGER
Danger of death from electric shock.
Install the LED light only when the plug is
not connected to the mains.
Disconnect all the electrical devices in the
aquarium before starting the installation
work.
Secure the light arm to the top edge of the
aquarium wall (Figure B, 1.).
ATTENTION!
The aquarium wall may be damaged if you
overtighten the screws.
Tighten the securing screws carefully.
Minimum distance from water level symbol.
Tighten the securing screws (Figure B, 2.).
Connecting and starting
DANGER
Danger of death from electric shock.
Check the LED light and the mains cable for
breakages, notches and other visible signs of
damage.
Do not connect the LED light to the mains
supply if the LED light or mains cable is
damaged.
Use a correctly installed earthed socket
(230 V ~ 50 Hz) to supply power.
Fit the plug into the socket.
There are two switch positions for selecting the
colour of the lighting:
•
Day lighting: The lighting unit emits daylight white
light.
•
Night lighting: The lighting unit emits blue light.
This creates an attractive moonlight effect.
•
Ideally the light should be on for 8 to 12 hours per
day.
•
Using a timer the day lighting could be turned on
and off automatically.
Cleaning and maintenance
The LED light requires no maintenance apart from
cleaning if it gets dirty.
DANGER
Danger of death from electric shock.
Disconnect the plug before starting any
cleaning work.
Clean the LED light with a dry or slightly moist
cloth if it gets dirty.
