Ensure that the connection will not get loose when
the appliance operates at maximum power.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not bend or crush the power cord during
installation! Otherwise the cord may get damaged.
RISK OF INJURY!
There is risk of injury during installation because
of the sharp edges. During installation always use
protective gloves.
All safety bolts and safety covers shall be installed in the
way specified in the instructions, otherwise the appliance
may fall.
OPERATION OF THE RANGE HOOD
The accessible parts may get hot while the
appliance is operating in combination with
operating hot plates under it.
Range hoods SL 0460 1T IX и SL 0560 1T IX share similar
operation logics. They are operated by two switches
which you can see after pulling the front panel. The
switch located to the left-hand side is for switching on/
off the lightening, and the switch located to the right-
hand side is for control of the ventilation speed.

Description of the control switches shown in figure 6:
The lightening switch has two positions:
I
– ON
0
– OFF
The ventilation switch for 1st and 2nd speed has three
positions:
II
– 2nd ventilation speed
0
– switched off
I
– 1st ventilation speed
In order for the range hood to operate at a particular
ventilation speed you need to press the relevant button
in the required position.
When you stop using the range hood, push the front
panel fully backwards. This will activate a switch which
will switch off the lightening and the fan.
When you need to switch on the ranger hood, pull
forward the front panel and the appliance will start
operating with the settings which you have made
during its last operation.
OPERATING THE RANGE HOOD WITH AND
WITHOUT CHARCOAL FILTERS
Do not use the appliance without filters!
TESY range hoods are intended for use with standard
aluminium filters and also with charcoal filters which
may be purchased separately.

Installing a charcoal filter is done as follows.
1.
Place the filter in its correct place.
2.
Turn in a clockwise direction to fix it in its place.
Removal of the filter is done in the reverse order.
If there is not a chimney in the room the range hood
shall be used with a charcoal filters to clean the air.
This filter kit is not included in the package, but you
can purchase it from Your supplier or service centre.
In this manner of operation the filter shall be replaced
with a new one every 3 to 5 months depending on the
frequency of use.
Never wash the charcoal filters. Keep it away from
children.
Before replacing the charcoal filters, You must
switch off the power supply of the range hood by
unplugging the power cord from the socket or by
switching off the fuse.
