 •

Tighten the fixing screws A and B into the wall and 
fix the appliance fully in points C and D.

 •

Connect the flexible aluminium pipe to the outlet 
of the range hood and to the chimney, taking into 
account that the bends and curves reduce the 
absorption power, so it is good to keep them at 
minimum.

 •

Ensure that the connection will not get loose when 
the appliance operates at maximum power.

 •

The joint bar (10) should be mounted on the wall by 
means of screws (9).

 •

Fix the internal chimney body (1) to the joint bar (11)

 •

Place the external chimney body (2) and fix it at its 
lower edge.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Do not bend or crush the power cord during 

installation! Otherwise the cord may get damaged.

RISK OF INJURY!
There is risk of injury during installation because 

of the sharp edges. During installation always use 
protective gloves.
All safety bolts and safety covers shall be installed in the 
way specified in the instructions, otherwise the appliance 
may fall.

OPERATION OF THE RANGE HOOD

The accessible parts may get hot while the 
appliance is operating in combination with 

operating hot plates under it.

CH 3420 1T 60 G range hood is operated by five round 
buttons located on the front panel for comfortable and 
easy access. The rightmost button is for switching on/off 
the lightening, and the remaining four buttons are for 
control of the ventilation speed.

You can set the range hood to operate at a ventilation 
speed which you wish, for example speed III, and you can 
switch directly to speed I or go back to speed III or the other 
way round.

OPERATING THE RANGE HOOD WITH AND 
WITHOUT ACTIVE CARBON

Do not use the appliance without filters!

TESY range hoods are intended for use with standard 
aluminium filters and also with filters with carbon which 
may be purchased separately.

If there is not a chimney in the room the range hood shall 
be used with a carbon filter to clean the air. This filter 
is not included in the package, but you can purchase 
it from Your supplier or service centre. In this manner 
of operation the filter shall be replaced with a new one 
every 3 to 5 months depending on the frequency of use.

Never wash the carbon filter. Keep it away from 
children.

Before replacing the carbon filter You must switch 
off the power supply of the range hood by 

unplugging the power cord from the socket or by 
switching off the circuit breaker.

The carbon filters come in a pair (left and right) and you 
need to observe their direction during installation.

Replacement of the carbon filters is done as follows:

1. 

Place the filter in its correct place.

2. 

Turn in a clockwise direction to fix it in its place.

Removal of the filters is done in the reverse order.

Lamp replacement

Before replacing the lamp You must disconnect 
the appliance from the mains. Let the lamp cool 

down, otherwise You may burn yourself.

 •

Remove the aluminium filters.

 •

Unscrew the faulty lamp in counter clockwise 
direction.

 •

Screw the new lamp in clockwise direction.

 •

Reinstall the aluminium filters.
