XFTP SAT LITE Satellite Meter - Operation Manual
QPSK Modulation
The Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) is a
digital modulation
scheme that conveys data by changing, or modulating, the phase of a
reference signal (the carrier wave). The frequency that is used is
8 Mbps / 8 MHz.
To change the QPSK modulation type, use the or Direction
Buttons to highlight the
QPSK
Field, then press the Direction
Button or
ENTER
Button to choose from
Nor
,
Inv
, or
Auto
.
Use the
Nor
setting for Ku band satellites in most cases,
Inv
setting
for C band satellites in most cases, or
Auto
setting for the automatic
mode. When in the automatic mode the instrument will automatically
select the correct modulation type for the signal.
