Section 3 - Pre-Operations
3.1 – Installation Procedures
Removing Original Battery
Follow the aircraft’s user manual for removal of original battery and proper disposal.
Check Charge
Ensure the TI47UH1-46AH MPU-24 is fully charged before installation.
Place TI47UH1 MPU-24 into aircraft.
Remove AC cord and place the unit in the same position as the original battery.
Secure unit in aircraft.
Secure the unit in the same position as the original battery.
Attach DC Connector
Attach the aircraft DC connector into the unit DC receptacle and be sure that it is fully seated.
NOTE
3.2 – DC Output Connector
The DC Output Connector is an aviation battery style receptacle. The DC Plug (See Figure 3.2.2 below)
connects to the DC Output Connector (See Figure 3.2.1 below) and is secured via a threaded T-handle.
Turning the handle one full turn clockwise securely locks the plug (See Figure 3.2.3).
