Bond the RSD to its NEMA enclosure with a grounding screw.

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to land the ground wire from the inverter on the ground bar. 

RAPID SHUTDOWN DEVICE

Verify that the project plan set places the Rapid Shutdown Device (RSD) in the correct location per the 

NEC code for this site. 

1. 

Attach the input conduit to the RSD. Connect the input connectors coming from the Pass Through 
Box. 

2. 

Attach the output conduit between the RSD and the inverter. Connect the output connects at the 
RSD.
