wrap its body in a string so that it does not get stuck when turning the spit.
CLEANING
Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
When cooking foods with too high a fat content, fat may run down the inner sides of the cooking
area, the safety glass on the door or fat and liquid may leak from the drip tray. Wait until the
appliance cools down and immediately wipe away the fat and liquid to prevent it from getting
inside the appliance.
Clean the appliance after each use and before long periods of storage.
We recommend cleaning the appliance as soon as it has cooled down before the remains of the
food dry.
Clean the base of the appliance with a damp cloth and detergent.
Removable parts which are intended for contact with food can be washed in the dishwasher, but
we still recommend hand washing for longer protection (durability). Wash these parts under warm
running water with the addition of neutral kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with clean water,
wipe them dry thoroughly and replace them. Never use abrasive detergents on these surfaces.
WARNING
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING
Once cooking has ended, the fan will continue to operate for 20 seconds to cool the appliance down. If
the appliance overheats, it switches off automatically. Allow the appliance to cool down before using it
again.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Solution
The appliance does not work.
Check that the device is really connected to 230 V.
Insert the outer basket completely into the appliance.
The food is not fully cooked.
Load smaller amounts, if the basket is overloaded, food may
not cook properly.
Increase the cooking temperature or time.
The food is not evenly cooked.
Ingredients that are stacked on top of or close to each other
must be turned during cooking.
The food is not crispy after frying.
Spraying food with a small amount of oil can increase
crispness.
Chips were not cooked well.
Add a small amount of oil, approx. 15 ml and toss the chips
thoroughly. When preparing chips from raw potatoes, leave
the uncooked chips soaked in water for 15 minutes to
remove the starch before frying. Dry them before adding a
small amount of oil.
Cut the uncooked chips into strips of 0.5 cm x 7 cm.
White smoke is coming out of the
appliance.
On first use, the appliance may produce white smoke. This is
OK.
Make sure that the inside of the appliance has been properly
cleaned and is not greasy.
Cooking fatty foods will cause oil leakage. This oil creates
white smoke. This is normal and should not affect cooking.
