When you have finished Vacuuming:

Switch the cleaner off and unplug from
the mains.

Empty the dust bag and clean the filters

Wipe the cleaner body with a damp
cloth and dry thoroughly. Do NOT
allow water or liquids to penetrate the
vacuum cleaner. This could be
dangerous.

Store the cleaner safely out of the reach
of children and pets.

The cleaner can be stored upright on its
base with the hose and accessories
disconnected and separately stored.
Alternatively, it may be stored in the
normal or upright position with the tube
and floor brush parked on the rear
hook as shown.

Wash both filters under running water. Allow to dry
fully. When they are thoroughly dry, replace the
filters using the illustrations on the previous page as

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF SWITCH

There is a safety switch inside the cleaner to prevent the unit from being run with too high a vacuum rate. If the airways or filters get
clogged the pressure in the cleaner will be excessive and the safety switch will be turned on. The cleaner then will stop working to
protect the motor from overheating.

If this happens switch off and unplug the cleaner

Allow the motor to cool down for twenty minutes and clean the airways

and filters thoroughly. Plug the cleaner in again and switch on: the cleaner should now operate normally.

immediately.

NOTE: Repeated and excessive use of the cleaner in a blocked or semi-blocked state may cause the motor to fail
permanently.
