WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED BLENDING
After you have finished blending:
Set the Selector knob to ‘0’.

Remove the lid.
•
Hold the jug carefully and remove it from the base.
•
Pour or spoon the contents out carefully.
•
Switch the blender off at the mains and unplug it after
•
use.
CLEANING
Replace the jug on the base. Pour about 500ml of warm
soapy water into the jug. Replace the lid.
Turn the Selector knob to ‘0’. Set the blender into pulse
mode for a few seconds to loosen any food particles and
free them from the blade. Remove the jug from the motor
unit, pour away the water and rinse in fresh running
water.
Remove the blade from the jug.
Place a tea towel or similar on the worktop.
Invert the jug and place it on the towel.
Unscrew the blade assembly from the jug and lift it off.
Be careful not to touch the edges of the blade.
LOOSEN
TIGHTEN
The soft bottom ring which is under the blade forms
the seal which stops liquids leaking from the jug. This
may adhere to the jug. If this happens, Lift this washer
CAREFULLY from the jug base.
BLADE
BOTTOM RING
The blade assembly consists of the blade and the bottom
ring.
Never fit the Blade assembly without the bottom ring
securely in place.
