IMPortant saFety InstructIons

•  Read these instructions.
•  Follow all instructions.
•  Unplug the fan when not in use, before moving it 

between locations, and before cleaning.

•  Do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture, e.g. 

by operating it in a window or veranda, etc.

•  Do not immerse the power cord or plug in water.
•  Do not spray liquids into or near the fan.
•  Do not operate this unit in the presence of explosive

•  Do not place any part of the fan on or near an open

•  To disconnect grip the plug and pull from wall outlet. 

Never yank on the power cord.

•  The use of attachments not recommended by the 

manufacturer may be hazardous.

Warning:

 Do not use this fan with any solid state 

voltage regulator or speed control.

•  Always use on a dry, level and stable surface when 

operating to avoid overturning.

•  Do not hang or mount the fan on a wall or ceiling.
•  Never use the fan without the guards correctly fitted.
•  Do not insert any object into the fan guards whether 

the fan is running or not.

•  Close supervision is necessary when any appliance 

is used by or near children.

•  This product is intended for household use. Do not 

use it for commercial or industrial purposes.

•  If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced 

by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly 

qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

connectInG a MaIns PluG

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance 

with the code:
Blue: NEUTRAL, Brown: LIVE, Green & Yellow: EARTH.
As these colours may not correspond to the coloured 

markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed 

as follows:

•  The wire coloured BLUE must be connected to the 

terminal marked with the letter N or coloured BLUE 

or BLACK.

•  The wire coloured BROWN must be connected 

to the terminal marked with the letter L or coloured 

BROWN or RED.

•  The wire coloured GREEN & YELLOW must be 

connected to the terminal marked with the letter E or 

coloured GREEN or GREEN & YELLOW or marked 

with the Earth Symbol
