8. Removal of the blood bag system from the tray
The clamp is opened so the tube can be removed from the clamp. The blood bag
system can be removed from the tray. T-RAC II will detect this and proceeds
automatically to the next step. Otherwise, ‘Statistics’ can be pressed.
9. Statistics
Statistics about the donation are shown. The user can continue to the idle state by
pressing ‘Finish’.
Alternatively, the screen proceeds automatically after 8 seconds.
If barcodes were programmed,
this field indicates how many. It
is red when not all codes have
been scanned.
The incident icons are only
shown when an ‘incident event’
is programmed. See chapter
6.2.4.
6.2.4
Events
The volume chooser is only one of 8 types of events which can be used. Other events,
for instance, allow to read barcodes or to communicate with a BBIS. The input of each
event is recorded in the donation data.
The events themselves and their location in the donation cycle cannot be configured
on T-RAC II, they are configured on TOMEs. The events can be displayed at following
locations:
•
At startup: before the ‘idle screen’. Results of these events are recorded into the
donation data from all donations which take place, until the device is restarted or
until another program is selected.
•
Before donation: during step 3 of the donation cycle.
•
During donation: during step 5.
•
After donation (but before needle removal): between step 6 and 7.
•
After needle removal: between step 7 and 8.
