• The TS089 does not require an external
power supply. A host PC transmits power
through a USB cable to power on the
reader.
• When you connect the TS089 USB
cable to a host PC, the device will be
detected as a Human Interface Device
(HID) keyboard wedge.
• Management of the reader is not
supported through the keyboard
interface.
NOTE: The green LED stops flashing
when reading is suspended. The output
from the HID port may continue if tags
have been read, but the data has not yet
transferred via the interface.
