EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
a) Isolation of the batteries on the lift
is carried out by removing a fuse.
This is located on the front face of
the box on the platform, behind a
round plastic cover. Two posi-drive
screws need to be removed to
gain access to the fuse, which can
simply be pulled out to isolate the
batteries. Remember to replace the
fuse, cover and screws afterwards
b) In the event that the lift
malfunctions part-way through
its travel it can be lowered by
swivelling to one side (after
removing one posi-drive screw) the
round plastic cover on top of the
box on the platform and
pulling the
cord
. Remember to replace the
cover and screw afterwards.
c) In order to lower a lift that has
malfunctioned at its upper position
it will be necessary to first remove
the fuse as per emergency
procedure a) before following
emergency procedure b).
d) The Isolator switch is situated on
top of the charger pack (located
indoors). Ensure switch is switched
on at all times.
