INSTALLATION & ASSEMBLY:

The thermostat can be fixed either to a flush mounted connection box, or
directly to the wall, by means of two of the holes on the back part of the
thermostat base. (Important: Locate it on an absolutely flat surface).

1. Remove the single screw as shown below and remove the thermostat dial

cover and outer cover (Fig. 2).

2. Fix the thermostat backplate either directly to the wall or to a suitable flush

mounting box, with 2 suitable screws (Fig. 3).

3. Connect the electric cables to the terminals in accordance with the wiring

diagram (Fig. 4), also shown inside the thermostat cover.

4. Adjust the thermostat temperature setting as in figure 5.
5. Replace the outer and thermostat dial cover.

POSITIONING:

For correct operation the thermostat should
be sited as required where it will protect
vulnerable pipework, radiators or boiler in
the event of the temperature falling to the
freezing point of water. Care should also
be taken to position the thermostat so that it
will detect a rise in temperature once the
heating is switched on by the frost thermostat i.e. where the area protected by the
frost thermostat is heated by radiators or boiler and away from draughts.
