Function
To use the SINE HP 48 headphone amp, connect it to an AC power supply. Use the
included 12 V AC adapter for this purpose.
The LED on the front panel indicates that the device is operational (no on/off switch).
Unplug the external power supply from the AC outlet if you do not intend to use the device
for an extended period.
The SINE HP 48 features 4 independent stereo amplifiers. The input for Channel 1 on the
rear panel has a mono and a stereo socket. You can therefore connect either 2 mono
jack cables, one stereo jack cable or one mono jack cable (monophonic signal playback)
to this input. When properly connected, the SINE HP 48 will automatically detect the
connection type.
Channels 2, 3 and 4 each have stereo sockets as inputs (use stereo jack cables!).
The SINE HP 48 supports cascading. Apply an audio signal to Channel 1 and it will be
available on all 4 channels.
If you now apply an additional audio signal to Channel 2, that signal will also be available
on Channels 3 and 4, whereas the first audio signal will still be available on Channel 1.
If you now apply a third audio signal to Channel 3, it will also be available on Channel 4.
