3 IN 1 AURICULAR THERMOMETER
TAKING A TEMPERATURE IN THE EAR
• Remove the probe cap.
• Press the mode button to select ‘take ear temperature’. (Check that
the probe is clean before taking a temperature).
• Place the probe in the ear canal.
• Press the ‘take temperature’ button and hold it down for 2 seconds.
• Keep the thermometer in your ear canal until you hear two beeps.
• Then remove the thermometer from the ear canal.
• The temperature will be displayed and the colour red or green
depending on the result.
After 6 seconds, you can retake your temperature.
If you take the temperature in your right ear, the reading may be
different from a temperature taken in your left ear. Therefore, you
should always take your temperature in the same ear.
CAUTION:
In order to obtain a precise measurement, ensure the correct positioning of the probe
in the ear so that the probe tip senses the heat from the eardrum. In order to do this,
you can pull the ear to straighten the ear canal and slightly rotate the probe inside.
(It is not recommended to use the ear function of the thermometer on a baby under
12 months old.)
Easy interpretation of the results
In both modes, if the temperature is lower or equal to 37.9° C, the green light comes on
for around 5 seconds. If the temperature is higher than 37.9° C, the red light comes on.
• Temperature higher than 37.9° C - high temperature: the red light comes on.
• Temperature lower or equal to 37.9° C - normal temperature: the green light comes
on.

• There are a total of 20 memory data for recording forehead
temperature measurements.
• The current measurement is always stored in the last storage
space. When all storage spaces have been occupied, the oldest
measurement is always deleted from the memory.
To display the last memorised result, press the memory recall
button «MEM». The last temperature reading will appear along with
the memory number.
To display the previous memorised results, press the memory recall
button «MEM» again and the memory numbers will be displayed.
Then press the “Mode” button to return to temperature-taking
mode.
Compare against your last reading.
The curve lets you see quickly if your temperature is higher or lower
than your last reading.
