Quick user guide for Fluorescence Reading System
WARNING: We recommend to read thoroughly the instructions for use of Rapid and Super Rapid Biological
Indicators (BIs) and the manual of IC10/20FR incubator before using the system.
Once the sterilization process has finished, close
the IB cap, break the ampoule and homogenize.
Next, put the BI in one position and wait for the
result.
The BI used as a positive control should not be
sterilized.
Position with green light: Sterilization process
was successful.
Position with red light: Sterilization process has
failed.
Turn on the incubator by connecting the power
source.
Press Temp button for 3" to start the
temperature selection mode. Press again to
choose the desired temperature.
If your equipment has the firmware version *IC10/20FR Rev.2.9, when plugging the incubator you won't need to choose temperature
nor program (last configuration remains recorded).
Press Time button to select the reading time
according to he BI you wish to incubate.
