the appliance can not be operated in iron-only mode, the boiler and the iron are switched
ON and OFF at the same time.
If you want to use iron without steam for dry-ironing, fill some water in the boiler anyway
(approx. 100ml, one glass), rotate knob (6) all the way counterclockwise, and do not use
the steam release button (16 ).
•
Place the appliance on a stable horizontal surface.
•
Place the rest rubber pad (18) at the point for you more comfortable ironing, always
within the possible range of movement of the monotube (7).
•
Place the iron on the rest rubber pad (18)
•
Fill the boiler as specified in the section “HOW TO FILL THE BOILER WITH WATER”
with a little of water (one glass, 100ml).
•
Turn steam flow control knob (6) fully counterclockwise.
•
Unwrap the power cable all the way to its length and plug the plug into the socket.
•
Press the iron ON/OFF light switch (3).
•
Turn the iron temperature control knob (13) to the chosen temperature for ironing
(figure 1).
DRY IRONING
in the steam shots that will follow. It is therefore advisable to exaust the first
steam shot to the ground and not to the item to be ironed.
•
The iron must be used and left at rest always on firm surfaces.
NO MORE WATER DURING THE USE
during ironing, if the indicator light (4) “No water” light ON, the water inside the boiler is
over, however, a residual steam under pressure is remaining inside the boiler; in order
to refill the boiler, please proceed as follows:
•
hold down the steam release pushbutton (16) until no more steam will come out from
soleplate (12)
•
When the internal pressure of the boiler has completely exausted and from soleplate
(12) steam no longer comes out, switch OFF the appliance by means of switch (3)
•
disconnect the plug from the power socket
•
unscrew VERY SLOWLY the cap (2) of the boiler, ALWAYS paying attention to any
steam residual
•
replenish the boiler according to the instructions in the “HOW TO FILL THE BOILER
WITH WATER” section.
•
switch ON the appliance again according to the instructions given in the “STARTING
UP” section.
WARNING!
Always unplug the iron from the power socket before filling the boiler with water.
WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED IRONING
•
Press button (16) on the iron aiming to a free space, until no more steam come out,
exaust steam completely!
•
Turn the appliane OFF by pressing the switch (3).
•
Unplug the appliance from the power socket.
•
Place the iron on its support base (9) and wait for the appliance to completely cool
down (nearly 20 minutes) before carrying out any further operation or store it in a safe
and dry place.
