resistance will be reduced. (A slight smell and light smoke may still be spread.)
• Turn the thermostat control knob (10) to the "Max" position by turning it fully
clockwise. The power indicator lights up and the heating element stays on
continuously.
• After about 10 minutes, the heating element will have already reached the right
temperature for grilling.
• The grill can also be used to keep food warm: by turning the thermostat control
knob back you can minimize the time intervals between turning the heating
element on and off.
WARNING: To avoid any heat build-up and consequent damage to the
appliance, the food to be cooked must rest directly on the grill. Do not insert
objects of any kind between the food and the heating element (such as:
aluminium foil, serving dishes or other).
• During cooking, the water placed in the grill pan evaporates, you must be
careful to restore the optimum water level in due course. When adding water, be
careful not to wet the heating element.
CAUTION: Disconnect the grill from the power supply before adding water.
• At the end of the cooking process:
- turn the thermostat control knob back to the '●' position.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow the barbecue grill to cool
completely.
SUGGESTIONS
The duration of cooking depends on the type of food, the thickness and personal
tastes; with the use and experience you will be able to determine the times
suitable for obtaining the best results.
To cook delicate foods, place the grill at the highest position by inserting it into the
circular holes.
4 – CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION!
Before carrying out any cleaning and/or maintenance operations,
disconnect the plug from the power outlet
and wait until the
appliance has cooled off.
