Menu: Encoder / KLV
The KLV (Key Length Value) page is intended for the insertion of geo data (as meta data) in the transport
stream. See Figure 20Figure 20.
Receiving geo data is only supported via UDP protocol. ENC-300 can send the geo data as meta data
with all supported transport protocols. The parameter ‘LOWDELAY’ in the ‘Transport Stream Padding’
field is not supported when the check box ‘Metadata Enabled’ is enabled.

Settings:
Description:
Metadata Enabled:
Enables / Disables the insertion of KLV meta data.
Metadata Port:
Specifies the port number for the meta data. The port number
range is: 1
– 65535.
Metadata Bitrate [kbps]:
Specifies the used bitrate for the meta data. The metadata bitrate
range is: 1
– 200 kBit/s.
Metadata PCR Offset [ms]:
Specifies the PCR (Program Clock Reference) offset for the meta
data. The PCR offset range is: 0
– 1000 msec.
H264 Timestamps:
Specifies the H.264 timing info for SDI input. You can choose
between:
(0) Internal
(0x1) VITC commercial (read embedded VITC from input
and insert in stream)
(0x101) VITC commercial and precision (convert this VITC
to a precision timestamp and store as ‘user data
unregistered’ SEI message)
