Installing the fire pit
• Before use, place the fire pit on a flat,
stable, fireproof surface outdoors.
Operation
Danger Risk of burning!
The fire pit and the firewood lo-
cated inside it become very hot
during operation, such that any
contact with these can lead to
very severe burns.
– Keep away from hot parts as any
contact can cause severe burns.
Always wear heat-resistant barbecue
or kitchen gloves. (Glove Category
II with regard to heat protection, e.g.
DIN-EN 407)
– Use only long-handled utensils with
heat-resistant grips.
– Do not wear any clothing with wide
sleeves.
– Use only dry lighters or special fluid
lighters compliant with EN 1860-3 as
firelighters.
Use as fire pit
1. Remove the spark screen
(C)
from
the fire bowl
(B)
.
2. Place 1-2 solid firelighters in the
middle of the fire pit on the char-
coal grate
(E)
. Pay attention to the
manufacturer’s instructions on the
packaging. Light the firelighters with
a match.
3. Layer a few pieces of dry, seasoned
firewood as kindling in the form of a
pyramid around the firelighters.
4. Wait until a sufficiently large flame
has developed on the kindling be-
fore you lay on more pieces of wood.
Place the spark screen
(C)
on the
fire bowl
(B)
in order to avoid flying
sparks. Use the poker
(E)
for stoking
the fire.

WARNING!
Bear in mind that the fire
bowl becomes very hot. You should
therefore touch the fire bowl only
while wearing oven gloves. (Glove
Category II with regard to heat protec-
tion, e.g. DIN-EN 407)
Maintenance and Cleaning
Your fire pit is made of high quality materi-
als. To clean and maintain the surfaces,
please heed the following instructions:
Danger Risk of burning!
Let the fire pit cool down com-
pletely before cleaning it.
– Only tip out the ash when the fuel has
completely burned out.
Danger Health risk!
Do not use any decolourants or
thinners to remove stains.
Attention Risk of damage!
Do not use any strong or grind-
ing solvents or abrasive pads,
since these can attack the sur-
faces and leave behind scrape
marks.
• Protect your fire pit against continu-
ous weather influences. Since it is
manufactured from steel it will even-
tually rust. Clean possible rust spots
and repair them with fireproof paint.
