–  Always store the brazier in a dry condition.

–  Store the brazier at a place not exposed

to frost.

–  Protect the brazier from damage during

transportation.

Device-specific instructions

–  Only use the brazier outdoors; it may

not be used indoors under any circum-

stances.

–  The brazier may be placed indoors for

decoration purposes only. It is forbidden

to use it indoors.

–  Never use the brazier under a canvass

or porch roof.

–  To ensure a safe operation of the brazi-

er, always use it on a solid, even surface

with a sufficient bearing capacity.

–  Before using the brazier, set it up at a

safe place on an even surface, pref-

erably protected from wind.

–  Use  only  dry  lighters  or  special  fluid

lighters compliant with EN 1860-3 as

firelighters.  Make  sure  to  observe  the

manufacturer’s instructions.

–  Never use liquids such as petrol, turpen-

tine, spirits etc. to light or re-light the fire.

These  substances  inflame  explosively

and are poisonous to some extent. Use

dry  firelighters  or  a  chimney  starter  in

-

stead.

–  Never add a fluid firelighter or charcoal/

firewood soaked in fluid firelighter on hot

or warm charcoal/firewood.

–  Never leave children or pets unattended

near the brazier. Be extra careful when

starting the fire!

–  Maintain a safety distance of 3 meters

from flammable materials.

–  The brazier becomes very hot during

operation; therefore, never move the

brazier with fire in it.

–  Only tip out the ash once the charcoal

has completely burned out and cooled

down. Never throw hot ashes away in

ordinary household waste. This would

pose a great risk of fire!

–  Only tip out the ash once the charcoal

has completely burned out and cooled

down.

–  Always  wear  fire-resistant  gloves  (e.g.,

barbecue gloves) when adding charcoal

or firewood to the brazier.

–  Wear appropriate clothing. Avoid loose

sleeves as they can easily catch fire.

–  Wear firm, enclosed shoes. Sandals do

not provide any protection from hot em-

bers!

–  Never  leave  an  open  fire  or  embers

unattended. This poses a risk of per-

sonal injury and fire!

–  To be prepared for emergency situa-

tions, always have a bucket of sand

nearby to put out the fire.

–  Always tip out the remaining charcoal

and ash in a non-flammable metal con

-

tainer  and  fill  it  up  with  water.  Let  the

charcoal and water stand for 24 hours

in the metal container before disposing

of it completely.

–

In principal, you should only use

well-dried  firewood  (stored  for  at  least

3 years) or ordinary briquettes for open

fire.

–  Never use the brazier for grilling.
–  Please consider your neighbors so that

they are not disturbed with odors or

smoke and their property or assets are

not exposed to a risk of fire.
