Handle/Locking System Installation
3.
Secure the left side of the door frame to post by pressing
steel clips over edge of post and angles on door frame.
Install three clips: top, middle, and bottom. Tighten screws in
clips to securely fasten frame to shelving unit. Repeat this
procedure to secure the right side of the door frame.
4.
Make sure the cabinet is level so the doors will operate
properly. You are now ready to install the locking handle
and lock bars to the door.
1.
Place the locking handle (Ref. No. 4) on the right hand
door and push it until it snaps into place. Then turn the
handle to the open position. The latch should be facing
downward as shown.
2.
With the handle still in
the open position, hook
the locking bars (Ref.
No. 3) to the locking
cam on the back of the
recessed handle.
4.
Slide the nylon lock bar guide inserts
(Ref. No. 5) over the lock bar ends
and through the door slots. Push
down firmly until the guides snap
into place.
