Handle/Locking System Installation

Secure the left side of the door frame to post by pressing    

 

steel clips over edge of post and angles on door frame.    

 

Install three clips: top, middle, and bottom. Tighten screws in  

 

clips to securely fasten frame to shelving unit. Repeat this   

 

procedure to secure the right side of the door frame.

4.

 

Make sure the cabinet is level so the doors will operate    

 

properly. You are now ready to install the locking handle 

 

and lock bars to the door.

1.

 

Place the locking handle (Ref. No. 4) on the right hand  

 

door and push it until it snaps into place. Then turn the  

 

handle to the open position. The latch should be facing  

 

downward as shown.

With the handle still in  

 

the open position, hook  

 

the locking bars (Ref.    

 

No. 3) to the locking    

 

cam on the back of the  

 

recessed handle.

4.

 

Slide the nylon lock bar guide inserts  

 

(Ref. No. 5) over the lock bar ends  

 

and through the door slots. Push  

 

down firmly until the guides snap 

 

 

into place.

Slowly rotate  the door handle  

 

to the closed position so the  

 

lock bars protrude from the  

 

holes at the top and bottom  

 

of the door (shown below).
