SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE KETTLE
• Use only cold water when filling the devlce.
• The water level must be belween the MAX. and MIN. marks.
• Switch the kettle off before removing [t lrom the base.
• Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
• The base and exterior of the kettle must not become wet.
• Kettle body must match the kettle base.
• Before using the kettle for the first time, fill the kettle with cold water and boil it twice without any additives.

Fill the kettle with water. Do not overfill. Use the water leve! indicator.

Place the ketlle on the base.

Electrical connection
• Check whether the electrical voltage which you intend to use ls the same as that of the kettle. Details can
be found on the label on fue base of the kettle.
• Only connect the kettle to a properly installed 11OV 60Hz socket.

Switch the kettle lo position ‘1’ (ON). The control lamp on the water indicator shows that the water is being
boiled. (See figure 1 for switch placement)

Afler boiling, the kettle switches off automalically. Disconnect the
kettle from the main electricity supply.
Do not open the lid when pouring.
If the ketlle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
The kettle is only to be usad with the stand provided
