Logging Out
To log out of the
8860 Multi-service Switch Router
at the console, type the logout command
at the CLI prompt:
8820#

Change the Default Password
When the 8820 MSR switch is first powered up it provides two default logins at the CLI for
two user types—root and admin
.
The 8860 Multi-service Switch Router system requires that you change the default
passwords, as indicated by the login screen

reminds you that the 8860 Multi-service Switch Router switch does not have SNMP access
until these passwords have been customized.
