System
Allocated

System assigns the DHCP range. The DHCP
address pool is based on LAN port IP address plus
100 IP addresses. For example, the LAN IP
address is 192.168.0.254; the DHCP address pool
is at the range of 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199.

DHCP
address pool
selection

User
Defined

Assigning the DHCP range by users. Users need
to set the start and end defined address if enabled
this function. The DHCP address pool is at the
range of

User Defined Start Address

 and

User

Defined End Address

. The maximum pool size

can be 253 IP addresses: 255 total IP addresses,
one for broadcast address and one for LAN port IP
address. Default DHCP address pool is
192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.199.

User Defined
Start Address

The DHCP start address defined by users.

User Defined
End Address

The DHCP end address defined by users.

Automatic

System selects the DHCP gateway
automatically.

DHCP
gateway
selection

User Defined

Assigning the DHCP gateway by users. Users
need to set the defined gateway address if
enabled this function.

Lease Time

The Lease time is the amount of time of a network user will be
allowed to connect with DHCP server. If all fields are set to 0,
the allocated IP addresses will be effective forever.

Single User

The DHCP server only allocates one IP
address to local PC.

User Mode

Multi-User

The DHCP server allocates the IP addresses
specified by the DHCP address pool.
