Kit description
This document provides instructions for installing the Eye mezzanine board,
upgrading the firmware, and updating software licenses. The kit applies to
these instruments:
• PRISM MPI2-10 Media Analysis Platform
• PRISM MPX2-10 Media Analysis Platform
Supported upgrades
These hardware upgrades are supported by this document:
•
MPI2-10-UP PHY
. Add SDI Physical Layer Measurement Package to
the MPI2-10 product; includes automated measurement of
12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI Eye pattern parameters, jitter parameters and
jitter waveform display.
(Option MP2-FMT-4K required for 12G support)

MPX2-10-UP PHY
. Add SDI Physical Layer Measurement Package
to the MPX2-10 product; includes automated measurement of
12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI Eye pattern parameters and jitter parameters and
jitter waveform display.
(Option MP2-FMT-4K required for 12G support)

The spacer post provided in the kit will not be needed for the MPI2-10 12G Eye board upgrade. The MPI2-10 Mixed Media board comes with a second
spacer post installed
